This picture was taken Mother's Day 2007. These boys and girls have grown much in stature. Much has happened in their lives also. Too old for their years.
(The handsome little fellow on the left is Sister Philana's son Anthony)
When a little one is just babbling away, we wait for the first clear word. Sometimes it's "mama", sometimes it's "papa".
Is there anything sweeter that the first time it falls upon our ears? Our hearts are so full and nearly bursting at that moment, the whole world's got to know! Well, at least the whole family!
Do you know that God loves to hear babbling? I cannot begin to imagine how much He anticipates the first clear words of a new babe... Abba Father...
I've had this written down for several weeks now, just didn't post it. But as the Preacher preached on Sunday morning and children went to the altar, I remembered the draft.

Very nice picture and great post. How it must thrill God's heart to hear someone speak in an unknown tongue for the first time as they are filled with His Spirit! Thanks for sharing.

Carol,
The miracle of birth, natural or spiritual.
Comme Dieu est grand!
BTW Vos bébés plumés sont des mignons miracles aussi!
Hi Jinho and welcome,
Jesus has so much for us, we can always receive more.
God bless you.
Welcome back. Have missed your posts but this one definitely is one that is special.
Thank you Karen,
I'm happy to be in "Bloggville" again. I have made friends, and you have been a faithful one.
Catherine, I think this is you with the children ? If it is you, I don't have any fear for their future, nor for freedom in the US (as you wrote on my blog a few minutes ago). Because you look so confident.
Gilles,
Yes, it's me.
Confidence... not in me. It's in my heart, confidence in God. His love in my heart motivates me, gives me strength, leads me.
Thanks for stopping by,
Catherine
Catherine, What a beautiful post. I can only imagine the joy the Lord must feel when a new babe in Christ is born and speaks in that heavenly language for the first time. I do know that His word says the Angels in heaven rejoice over one sinner that repenteth so you know that He does as well. (Luke 15:10)
Hi Jolene,
Glad to see your hard drive is all better.
God bless you,
Catherine
