❀ Word of God...

"Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted." Galatians 6:1 KJV

Pondering this Scripture...

I am responsible - to a degree...
I am accountable - to a degree...
I am obligate - to a degree...

How does God see it? His degrees are not our degrees...

His Word is the only true barometer.

I'm seeking His face to understand more about His ways. No man could ever measure up, only by Grace Divine.

Thank you Lord.

Hi Catherine,

Good question to ponder here. Perhaps it might help to look up other Scriptures dealing with reconciliation/restoration in addition to prayer, and if it's really troubling you, talk to your pastor.

Blessings, ma soeur,

Carol Connell

There is or at least was a book on the market with the title, "Beyond forgiveness." I have been very watchful as to who I have loaned this book. It, in my thoughts, is one of the best on the subject of forgivness.

Powerful Thought! I recently went through a situation simular to this. Lots of prayer. I tried to help the individual. But when it gets to the point that I myself was almost overtaken, due to pure exhaustion from the circumstances, I had to consider myself and my own salvation. I had to step back and away and seperate myself lest I too get sifted away.

We ARE responsible - to a degree
Accountable - to a degree
Obligated - to a degree

But if the situation begins to drag you down, step back and away by all means. Don't get sifted away. Do like Sis. Connell said. Talk to your Pastor. I did and it was the saving of me.

Loved your words Catherine where you said, "I'm seeking His face to understand more about His ways". We don't have all the answers but we live in a world that believes we should. Last night a Man of God said to me that there are times when we must shut ourselves off from outer influences and let the Lord talk to us. How true. I know I will never measure up to His Grace; however, I will try with every ounce of strength I have. May blessings and Divine understanding be yours.

Carol, Mervi, Jolene, Karen,

Thank you for the good counsel. The situation is in God's Hand.
I am still always amazed to see how it all unfolds... Great message by Elder Vaughn Morton by the way - Let it unfold.
This year has certainly been different. I know who holds my future and He will do me no harm. It's all in the process. Another great teaching from Missionary Elder Wheeler.
God bless you my fellow saints.
