❀ Circuit breaker check

When the outlet for the fan didn't work, we plugged it somewhere else.
When the washer didn't come on, we used the next outlet.
When the dryer didn't respond and the cord was too short for the next outlet, we used a power strip to reach it and Voilà!
When the heater's blower didn't turn on, we used the portable heater. It's not really cold, only in the early morning, so it will do.

The neighbor came to check the circuit breaker box. We had been fiddling with it, resetting it here and there. Now it is of no avail. Sounds like the main fuse box - whatever that is. It needs serious fixing by a professional before we loose all power!

Isn't it what we do sometimes?
Go around instead of dealing with the problem?
Make do with what ever instead of getting the real thing?

When something is wrong with the main fuse box, we can try to plug in, but there is no power.
When something is wrong with the main fuse box, there is One who specializes in internal problems. He's got x-ray vision and know exactly what, where and how.

I need to plug into a "live" outlet!
I need you Jesus to check my fuses!
I need that Power, fresh everyday!

"...the inward man is renewed day by day." 2 Cor. 4:16 KJV

I want to stay "plugged in" to the Master Fixer-Upper. Loved your post.

Just a thought said...

My goal in life has become to keep the power connection between myself and the SOURCE of power open and in good repair.

Karen,

No one can touch us the way Jesus can.

Mervi,

Isn't it so? The longer we live for God, the older we get, to have the Power flowing freely become more and more the most important thing.

hey mom,
Isn't it amazing that in the times of "being on our face" before the Lord pouring our heart and will, that's when His Power flows in. When flesh is being pushed out, it let's the spirit in. Just like an electrical circuit, there has to be flow through. Remember to make that circuit work properly there will be a positive, negative and ground. You really need all three. (some leave out the grounded and you never know what will happen)

"no one can touch me like Jesus can" the old song said.

love you, son#1

Son #1,

Just like that you added to my thought.
I tell you, you can teach :)
I don't understand about electricity, so what happens when it's not grounded?

Hey, man is three parts too - got to have that lined up right.

Love you very much,
Mom

Sis Catherine that is so true. I have done that so many times just tried to limp along. When I know the master who holds all power and can fix it and make it brand new. Thank you for reminding me to go back to the main source.. Love you, Sis Noel
